This was a birthday cake for Ana Maria, who gave me the Kandinsky picture below and let me run with it! I decided to incorporate her initials "A.M." in the cake in the style of the original artist. Kandinsky, who was also an accomplished musician painted what music would look like. He said, "Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul."
