Happy 2nd Birthday Isabelle! Her favorite movie last year was Pinocchio; this year it's Sleeping Beauty-- one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME! So needless to say, I was excited to be making this and even watched a few clips of the movie on youtube for "research". (I love the "Once Upon A Dream" scene when Aurora is dancing with the owl and then Prince Phillip cuts in :)
The 2 tiered cake features Princess Aurora, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather dancing in the forest and the castle on the top tier. The cake is adorned with a #2 topper, fluffy clouds, and some sparkle!
I leave you with some Sleeping Beauty Trivia: did you know that even though Princess Aurora is the main character she appears in the movie for less than 18 minutes?
Amazing! You are so talented. Sleeping Beauty is right behind The Little Mermaid in my book. Maybe for my birthday you can put Ariel on an airplane ;)
